Jen's Baby Updates: Week 21

This update will be pretty short... and here it is...

I worked on the final exam for my class every night after work. I spent the entire weekend grading it. I'm done now. :-}

Monday was our second wedding anniversary... we didn't do anything particularly special because we had just spent the entire weekend just relaxing and enjoying being together. We never buy gifts for each other, and instead have agreed to upgrade a computer every year for our anniversary. This year, we agreed that neither of us really needed a new computer, so instead Travis bought a scanner for us as a surprise for me. Now I'll be able to scan in the ultrasound pictures and anything else baby related that you should all see! I'm looking forward to regaining my computer enthusiasm so I can play with it!

The other high point of the week was going out shopping with Delia after I gave my final. I haven't gotten to spend much time with her this quarter, because we have both been busy, so I've missed her a lot!

Friday night I had an epiphany... I could make the quarter end sooner! If I went home and graded all of my finals and just cranked through them, then I could grade the projects, and be done. So I did. I made it halfway through the finals on Friday night, and felt great about it. It still took me the entire next day to finish them, but I finished the projects on Sunday no problem. So, I ended the quarter three days early, giving me more time to relax (and shop for maternity clothes)!

Announcements:

Mike and Delia got a new cat named Charlie. I've only seen pictures thus far, but he is a very cute orange cat! He is 8 months old, and was in a no-kill shelter for quite a while, and he loves attention and petting (and is vocal about it -- meowing when he isn't get attention, purring when he is) and follows them everywhere. They are happy!
