Introduction

I believe myself to be a woman of diverse interests. I have so many hobbies and projects going on all the time that it is amazing that I get anything done. My current (January, 2003) interests include: my pregnancy, martial arts (Tae Kwon Do and Shorin-Ryu Karate), the usual geek stuff, programming, board games, playing guitar, and singing.

Given the choice, I love to spend time with Travis, and often Travis and my friends. Alone time is spent reading in the bathtub or playing with my computer. My life is very good!

Now that I have a child, I'm always looking for new people with children of a similar age, so I have someone to talk to while the kids run free. Xander loves to go to the park, and to the pool, and to the Boonshoft, and anyplace where there are fun things to see and do. If you want to join me, send me email!

After Xander was born, I was pretty lonely for a while because I didn't know anyone local with kids his age. Then I found the MOMS Club, and started my own playgroup, the Moonbeams, just for kids within a month or two of Xander. Now I don't know where the time goes... I'm a social butterfly already, but I'm always looking for new moms to play with!
