I studied with MSU Tae Kwon Do Club at Michigan State on and off for a few years. We studied both the Taegeuk and the Palgwe Taekwondo forms. The club was very social and very fun!

Mike and Delia Raymer moved down to Dayton from Michigan State in 2000, and the four of us started the WSU Taekwondo Club. Not having a black belt in Taekwondo, nor any art at that time, I was mostly involved in the administration and publicity parts of starting the club, as well as instructing beginners when they came to check out the school. It has been a great success so far, and we hope that it will continue growing!

My first loyalty is to Shorin-Ryu and the WSU Karate Club, but I spend as much time as possible at the WSU TKD Club as well. I find it very interesting to see how different arts teach and interpret the same things.

Since earning my black belt in Shorin-Ryu Karate, I've been honored to be invited to sit on the testing board for the rank tests for the WSU TKD club, and that has been a very interesting and enlightening experience. Mostly I've learned how much more I need to learn!
