Xander learned how to make Xander-bridges, and watched his little boats sail down the tidepools under Grandpa-bridges and Grandma-bridges. So cute! He went swimming with Grandpa later in the afternoon.
Dolphin Seafari boat trip, feeding seagulls on the beach:We went on a pontoon boat ride to try to see some dolphins. Xander was entranced by the boat ride. We did see some dolphins... Xander kept saying, "Dolphins peek out!" Later we went to the beach and fed the seagulls, but they didn't swarm as much as we had hoped.
My mom and I went for a bike ride in Sea Pines with Xander in a bike seat. He enjoyed it, but I think it might have been a little dull for him. He's a doer, not a watcher. We rode to South Beach and had lunch at the Salty Dog, and saw a dolphin in the marina. It rained on our way back, but it was warm, and Xander just fell asleep in the seat, anyway.
Playing on the beach, as usual, plus some group shots before we left. I took a few pictures at the airport, too. These flights were less pleasant for Xander.
Xander and I went to STI for Jennie Hempstead's baby shower. Grandpa White stopped by on his way back from a road trip to Kentucky. We searched for golf balls in the ditch and played in the sandbox.
We babysat for Ethan for the afternoon, here are some cute pictures of them fighting over the Cozy Coupe. I also took the 11 week pictures of my body. Still skinny. FOR NOW!
We had a party at my house for Xander, Maddie, and Isaiah. It was great! The kids got to play with Xander's new train table, and generally made a big glorious mess of the entire house.
We celebrated Xander's, Sheryl's and my birthdays today. It was a good gathering, with Ronnie, Sheryl, Troy, Karen, Draven, and Kaden representing the Doom family, and my Grandpa, Nancy, Randy, and Brett representing the White family, but just my mom representing the Stone family. We missed Teresa and Jack and Becky!
