We go to storytime at the Yellow Springs Library and this was the last week, so I took a few photos. Xander made me a present for Mother's Day. Afterwards, we went to the Waterpark with Delia and Connor.
We go to swimming lessons in Xenia with Delia and Connor, and Lorna was here to take pictures for us! Afterwards, we all headed to the Boonshoft, where I had taken Lorna a few years ago when she visited. Much fun!
We stopped by to see Justin and Ash as we headed up to Michigan. My dad picked up Xander and took him to their house, so we had the evening to ourselves. It was so much fun and we laughed a lot!
Saturday, May 07: High School Friends - Javi's Induction into Hall of Fame
I had lunch with Javi, then spent some time with Ken, and eventually Lorna and I ended up at the Huron High School Hall of Fame Induction. Afterwards, we went to a bar in town and everyone else drank. I was the designated pregnant chick/driver.
Lorna and I had brunch with my family to celebrate Mother's Day. We went back to my house and spent time with the family there. Afterwards, we went out to dinner with Ken, and ended up at a coffee shop with Earl.
I had to say goodbye to Lorna today. Xander and I took her to the bus station, and watched her drive away. Xander was sad to see her go... he said, 'Lorna not talking Mom anymore.' Awww.
For Brantley's birthday, we went to Chuck E. Cheese's, which I thought would be a disaster, because in MY memory, it was a loud, dark, smoky place. Not this one! It was perfect for kids, and Xander figured out the value of money. He loved taking the tokens and putting them in the little rides.
We took Grandpa over to his apartment at Brookhaven. Eno and Debbie were here, and Becky came, too. Lots of laughing, as usual when the girls are around.
I met everyone at Ashley's bar downtown, hoping to get some food. I finally got some pictures of me and Javi, because I forgot last time. My head is so much bigger because I'm the one holding the camera, so I'm closer to it. My head is not absurdly large, nor is Javi's absurdly small.
