I had a bout of false labor, with really strong contractions that really distorted my belly. The left of the pictures is toward my feet. It scared me how much the baby seemed to be entirely up toward my ribs. I hope the baby hasn't flipped.
My mom took some pictures of me and Xander during gymnastics. See how flexible I still am? Ha ha ha! It was definitely hard to stretch... I'll have to work on it pretty soon.
Katherine Sherilyn White Doom was born at 5:58pm, just a few minutes after we made it to the hospital. No picture were taken of the labor or birth, because there was no way we could have had time to do it.
A picture of myself in labor. I almost couldn't write the sign because I was shaking so much. Apparently I was going through transition (dilating from 7 to 10 centimeters) at the time, according to a nurse I talked to. This picture was taken at 5:06pm.
I put my beautiful cloak that Delia made me on the couch and took some pictures of Kayli on black. I took about a hundred pictures, and unsurprisingly, some of them turned out really well. I'll have to make a page of the best ones.
Everyone arrived at our house to celebrate Thanksgiving together. In attendance were Travis's parents, my parents, my sister, my aunt Rebecca, Travis's brother Ryan, my cousin Sarah, and her boyfriend Kenny.
This is my body 2 weeks after giving birth. I weighed 157 this morning. It is interesting to note that that is only 2 pounds less than 96 hours afterwards, but I look much flatter. That leaves me about 15 pounds to lose to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight.
