Kayli is 2 months old!

Kayli had her 2-month appointment today. She has been very congested lately, so I was glad to take her in. She weighs 12 pounds, 12 ounces, which is a gain fo 7 ounces since Tuesday.

She had immunizations. It was pretty awful. Her little face screwed all up and turned dark red while she squalled. I had her nursing, of course, but she let go right away. She was glad to clamp down on the nipple again a few seconds later.

Xander NEVER had any kind of reaction to the shots. He wasn't unusually tired, or cranky, or anything. Kayli has been sleeping since the appointment (11:00am), except for a brief stint when she just cried and cried and cried. It was so sad. One of the shots was given to her pretty high up in her thigh, so I think her diaper rubs against it
