Wednesday, January 4 - moonbeams: Moonbeams - Chuck E. Cheese Playgroup
We finally made it to Chuck E. Cheese's for playgroup. I had a great time! Xander did too. We spent a lot of time on the jet ski game. He really liked that. Best pictures in here are of Isaiah with his babes.
Friday, January 6 - whites: Whites Visit
My parents couldn't stay away, so they came down on Thursday and stayed until Sunday. It was glorious! My dad and Xander took apart the guitar that Holly and Tom gave Xander because one of the buttons wasn't working - they had a great time! Xander was so helpful.
Saturday, January 7 - kayli: Kayli in the Snowsuit
Many pictures of Kayli here, especially some cute ones in the sherpa bear snowsuit that Ash and Justin gave her!
Saturday, January 7 - whites: Whites Visit
There is a cute pictures of my parents sleeping with Kayli in their bed. They stole her away, thinking that I wouldn't notice! They make me laugh. They tired the kids out so much that I had to take pictures of the kids sleeping.
Sunday, January 8 - birthday: Happy 8 week birthday, Kayli!
Today, Kayli is 8 weeks old. Amazing.
Sunday, January 8 - kayli: Kayli
    Many pictures of Kayli.
Sunday, January 8 - whites: Whites Visit
My parents had to leave on Sunday. Very sad. I wish they lived closer so we could see them more often.
Monday, January 9 - kayli: Kayli
Just a few cute pictures of Kayli in the flowered outfit that Ron and Louise Shoksnyder gave her.
Tuesday, January 10: Kayli
Kayli was all bundled up to go out. Having a baby in the winter is much harder than having a baby in the spring. I'll remember that for next time.
Wednesday, January 11: Xander and his train table
Xander still LOVES his trains, so here are some pictures of him playing with them.
Wednesday, January 11 - gifts: Gifts for Kayli
Gifts from Susan Welsh, Vromans, Kathi, Ryan and Al, Dooms, Judy Kesler, Becky, Melissa.
Wednesday, January 11 - kayli: Kayli in my outfit
My mom saved an outfit of mine, so here are many pictures of Kayli wearing it. My mom also gave me a picture of myself in the outfit, so I tried to replicate that photo.
Thursday, January 12: Xander and his tractor
It was a beautiful day, so Xander took his new tractor from Grams and Papa outside so he could play in the grass. Then, we found that his sandbox cover was filled with water, so his tractor helped him empty it so we could get in and play. That was his idea. He's so clever! Surprisingly, no pictures of Kayli!
Friday, January 13 - kayli: Kayli
Oh, here she is! Our neighbors gave us this pink snowsuit. When Travis saw her in it for the first time, he said, "Wow, we have a little pink ewok!" She's very cute.
Sunday, January 15: Xander and Kayli around the house
Xander was playing with Kayli, and gave her a sweet little kiss!
Sunday, January 15 - gifts: Gifts to Kayli
Holly gave Kayli a few outfits, one of which got used on the very night she gave it to us, because Kayli had a little accident at Holly's house. The outfit was a little big, but it will fit soon! Holly very carefully chose clothes that weren't pink, for variety! Thanks, Holly!
Sunday, January 15 - kayli: Kayli
Yes, more pictures of Kayli. Wearing the pink sweater and hat that my Aunt Rebecca gave her, and later, the sweater that Cousin Barbie gave her. It felt cold in the house today.
Tuesday, January 17: Around the House
Just a few pictures and video around the house, including one of Kayli in the swing. Kayli was wearing the "I Love You" sleeper from Connie and Aetmer.
Wednesday, January 18: Boonshoft with Ash
Ash and I went to the Boonshoft with the kids and had a lot of fun! Ash gave us a very cool sandcastle cake pan, so we made a cool sandcastle cake, decorated it with marshmallows and icing, and took it to Olive Garden to celebrate Dave and Nancy's wedding the next day.
Wednesday, January 18 - paolettis: Dave and Nancy's Wedding Dinner
We went to The Olive Garden to celebrate Dave and Nancy's upcoming wedding. It was an excellent evening, with friends and food. A friend of mine, Nicole M, babysat for Xander so we could have a quiet dinner at a restaurant.
Thursday, January 19: Xander, Ash, and a cake
We had to make another sandcastle cake because Xander never got to see the one we made for Dave and Nancy, much less taste it, having gone to bed before it came out of the oven. So, he got to watch, this time. He loved it! Ash made little flags with our names on them.
Thursday, January 19 - paolettis: Dave and Nancy's Wedding
Dave and Nancy got married at Fairborn City Hall with the mayor officiating. It was a lovely ceremony, and we felt so honored to be invited. Ash and I found a veil for her (something new), and I took a penny with the year that she and Dave met (something old), one of my favorite bracelets (something borrowed), and something blue.
Saturday, January 21: Gordon arrives!
Gordon joined Xander's train yard, so the other trains all gathered around to welcome him in. This was Travis's idea to surprise Xander with a new train.
Saturday, January 21 - kayli: Kayli on the Blue Cloud Blanket
I took a bunch of pictures of Kayli lying on Xander's blue cloud blanket. That was probably my favorite blanket when Xander was little. It is so soft!
Sunday, January 22: Kayli sleeping
Kayli was sleeping in the sling on the rocking chair. I got a few pictures of her sleeping, and more of her just gradually waking up.
Wednesday, January 25: Xander and brownies
Xander and I made brownies, and I let him lick the bowl (no eggs!). This is the result. He loves to help bake, and not just because he gets to lick the bowl!
Wednesday, January 25 - moonbeams: Moonbeams - Newport Aquarium
We went to Newport Aquarium with Nicole M and Susan (and associated kids). The most spectacular thing that we saw was the octopus. Fantastic! Also, we got to have Dippin' Dots! My favorite part of the trip was probably the drive, though, because I got to chat with Nicole. The Aquarium was completely empty. It felt like we were the only people there. Very nice!
Thursday, January 26 - kayli: Kayli in the green/blue striped John Lennon outfit
This outfit was Xander's when he was a baby, and it is just as cute on her!
Friday, January 27 - dooms: Travis's Parents Visit
Just a couple of pictures with the Dooms. They were on their way back from Florida, so they weren't here long at all. I wish they would stay longer when they visit!
Friday, January 27 - momsclub: Inflatable Playland
We drove a long way to go to an indoor inflatable playland. Xander really liked it, but I doubt we'll drive that far again. His favorite part was watching the entire place deflate. That was pretty cool. Afterwards, we went to TGIFriday's for lunch with the entire MOMS Club. Phew! That poor waitress.
Sunday, January 29 - whites: Whites Visit
My parents came to visit again. They just can't stay away! They brought Becky with them this time. She's very good with Kayli, so it is great to have her around to snuggle her. My dad and Xander played with golf balls (from the gully) for the longest time - they were adorable. The golf balls have numbers on them, you know, and my dad had Xander sort them by number. They found that there were several 1s, 2s, 3s, and 4s, but only one 0. 0 stood around and said, "I'm aloooone". It was very funny!
Monday, January 30: Tot Town with Connor and Delia
We went to Tot Town with Connor and Delia. Kayli slept the entire time, all snuggled up in her baby bucket. When I had Xander, I never understood why anyone would take those out of the car, but in the winter, I understand.
