Sunday, February 5: Kayli in the Bumper Jumper
Kayli is too young for the Bumper Jumper, technically, but we thought she was old enough. She did jump around quite a bit, so we think she likes it. We didn't have to prop her up with a blanket like we did with Xander, either.
Sunday, February 5 - birthday: Happy 12-Week Birthday Kayli!
Kayli is 12 weeks old! Unfortunately, she's not very happy about it.
Saturday, February 11: Briarwood and lunch with Mark and Kira
Xander, Kayli, and I went up to Ann Arbor. We had a great time, as usual. Today, we played at the mall with Kira and Mark, then had lunch with them at Applebees, which was a bit of a disaster. Xander is giving up naps and it is making it hard for him to deal with other kids.
Saturday, February 11 - whites: Visiting Whites - My Mom's Birthday
We had a big gathering at my parents' house for my mom's birthday, with my aunt Rebecca, my aunt Nancy and uncle Randy, my cousin Brett, my sister and my parents. They all snuggled Kayli (mostly Becky) and played with Xander. Kayli got a bow on her head, just like Great Grandpa White.
Sunday, February 12 - whites: Visiting Whites - Around the House
Busy day around here. Kira and Kat came over to play for a while. My aunt Rebecca couldn't stay away from Kayli (and me, I'm sure), so she was over. I got to go out for dinner with my friend Julie and her brother because Julie was in town to interview for a job at UofM.
Monday, February 13 - kayli: Kayli in a sleeper
Kayli looked so snuggly in her sleeper that I had to take a bunch of pictures. Who's surprised? Well, I was surprised that none of the batch were any good. But she's still cute.
Tuesday, February 14: Playing in the Mud Pit
At the end of our street is a muddy area that is basically a dumping ground for concrete, dead trees from landscaping, and other detritus from the construction. Xander loves it! We spend a lot of time there. It is warming up so it was a perfect day to go play there. I can't wait until summer so we can be outside all the time! Xander just loves it.
Wednesday, February 15: Walking in the Woods with Delia and Connor
We went for a walk in the woods with Delia and Connor. The boys had a great time, though Xander wanted to take Connor's hand and lead him around, and Connor wasn't interested. The both got dirty and Xander got wet, but it was a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. Xander loved playing in the pond.
Wednesday, February 15 - moonbeams: Moonbeams - Playgroup at Nicole's House
    We had playgroup at Nicole's.
Thursday, February 16: Young's Dairy
Yet another visit to Young's Dairy. We go there a lot. Even when it seems like it might be too cold for ice cream. Believe me, it is never too cold for ice cream when you're a 2-year old boy.
Friday, February 17: Making Candy
Xander and I made candy in Winnie the Pooh molds. It was a lot of fun because he could paint the molds himself. They turned out lovely, I assure you.
Saturday, February 18: Storytime and Eyebrow Threading

First, we went to storytime at Xenia. Xander likes the Xenia library because it starts with X, like Xander. He likes the storytime there. The woman there always remembers him, and pulled out a Thomas treasury for him to take home.

Then, we met Mike, Delia, Tom, and Holly for lunch and eyebrow threading. Well, only Delia, Holly and I got threaded. Kayli was there, too, but she doesn't have any eyebrows yet. It was so interesting that I took a lot of pictures. OK, I know, I take a lot of pictures even when it isn't interesting.

Monday, February 20: Sleeping Kids
My two children, sleeping next to each other. So sweet and peaceful. Nothing like when they are awake.
Tuesday, February 21: Beth's Easter Lily
My aunt Rebecca's friend Beth gave us an Easter Lily for Christmas, and it bloomed beautifully! Xander checked it every day to see if it had water, and watered it if it didn't.
Thursday, February 23: Tea Party at the Library
After playing with the computer at the library, Xander wanted to have a tea party with me and the teddy bears. He was very polite.
Saturday, February 25 - huron: Steak with the Monkey Boys
Javi was in Ann Arbor, so I headed up to spend some time with my parents. It was great! I got to go out for a very nice dinner at a real steak place with many of my friends from high school. Well, they were much cooler than I was, so they were more acquaintances than friends, but I'd like to think that we're friends now. I spent quite a bit of time talking to Alan's girlfriend about their new baby, Rex. Babies bring people together.
Sunday, February 26 - huron: Seeking Javi
In my typical fashion, I had to be sure to get a picture of me and Javi together. It is a tradition. So, I tracked him down at a restaurant where he was having lunch with John and Steve and got a photo. Some people say that I'm crazy, and maybe I am, but there you go.
Sunday, February 26 - whites: Visiting Whites - Lunch Out at the Mall
My parents and I went to Olga's for lunch, then Xander got to play at the mall play structure for a while. He loves it there. Later on, my aunt Rebecca came over to snuggle Kayli a bit.
Monday, February 27 - camp: Lunch with Ash
On our way home, we stopped to see Ash at the mall during her lunch break. We had Olga's again! Yay! Also, Dippin' Dots.
Monday, February 27 - whites: Vising Whites - Leaving
We headed home, so we stopped by my mom's office before we went.
Tuesday, February 28: Beth's Easter Lily
Just a couple more pictures of the gorgeous Easter Lily that Beth gave us.
