Kayli is 4 months old!

Kayli had her four month well-baby visit. She weighs 16 pounds, 10 ounces.

Height: 75th Weight: 95th Head: 95th

I make big babies. With big heads. ("So I Married an Axe Murderer", anyone?)

Nothing particularly interesting to report. The doctor recommended that we continue to hold off on solid food of any kind until closer to 6 months. The later the better (within reason) for avoiding allergies and maintaining healthy babyness. No problem. I found solid food to be a pain. I'm not looking forward to that. Breastfeeding is so easy! *sigh* Why do they grow so fast?

I did ask why Kayli is congested all the time. She said that it is just called 'infant congestion' and is because their nasal passages are pretty small. She'll grow out of it, and it isn't bad, anyway.

Kayli got three shots. She didn't like it. No surprise there. Her thighs have been sore since then, but no other side-effects. She isn't even sleeping more than usual. Hopefully she'll sleep well through the night.
