Wednesday, March 1 - moonbeams: Happy Birthday! The Moonbeams held a group birthday party combined with a group baby shower. The birthday kids were: Xander, Isaiah, Maddie, and Connor. The baby shower honorees were Pam, Megan, and Delia. Xander got the Thomas the Tank Engine roundhouse. When he opened it, he yelled, "Oh Wow!" What fun! |
Thursday, March 2: Day with Delia and Connor We went to Tot Town so that we could go for a walk. It was pretty cold out, but we had a good time. Xander rode his bike on the path with us, and did pretty well before he got tired. Then he rode around in the skate park, which was exciting! We did some laundry at the landromat, and a trip to Yellow Springs is never complete without ice cream at Young's Dairy, so that's where we went next. |
Saturday, March 4 - momsclub: Zoe Del Campo-Gray's Birthday Party Xander, Kayli, and I headed out to Zoe's 1st birthday party. It was lovely! Ileana throws great parties, with such good food. Xander and Marcos are the same age, so they can interact together, even if they haven't quite figured out how to play together. |
Wednesday, March 8: Waterpark! We went to the waterpark with Delia and Connor. As usual, it was a lot of fun. I carried Kayli in the sling, which worked fine in the water. I found later that it did fade it a little bit, but not obviously. So, with the sling, I was able to play with both kids in the pool. Perfect! |
Monday, March 13: Playing Outside Spring is here! It was a beautiful day out, so we broke open the sandbox for the season. Kayli likes being outside as much as her brother did when he was that age. |
Monday, March 13 - birthday: Kayli is 4 months old! Kayli is 4 months old. Isn't she cute? Xander really wanted us to take his picture next to the cake, too, and he insisted that I put an "X" on it for Xander. |
Monday, March 13 - moonbeams: Moms' Night Out! It was so nice to be out with everyone for Moms' Night Out! We went to Marion's Piazza. The food was great (especially the sausage pizza), and the company was better. I had to take Kayli with me because she's so little and cute (and she still nurses frequently), but she was very good in the sling, as usual. We had so much fun talking about all sorts of interesting things, like birth control! Most of the Moonbeams are done procreating, except Nicole M, who announced that she's pregnant! |
Friday, March 17 - whites: Sager Visit - Kayli and Paul Kayli with my mom's Uncle Paul. |
Saturday, March 18 - momsclub: Harrigan's St. Patrick's Day 5K I ran The Harrigan's St. Patrick's Day 5K. It went well... I beat my best time even though it was only in the 30s. Yikes! I almost didn't run when I saw how cold it was, but I'm glad I did. My radio gave out right after I started, sadly, and I had Dorothy the Dinosaur by The Wiggles stuck in my head. I ran with the two Beccas from MOMS Club. |
Saturday, March 18 - whites: Sager Visit We spent a lot of time sitting around and chatting. It was so nice to spend time with everyone! We played Tripoly late into the night. |
Sunday, March 19 - whites: Sager Visit More time with my great-aunt and -uncle. What a nice family I have! |
Tuesday, March 21: Doom Visit The Dooms stopped by on their way back up from the warmth of Florida. There were here, as usual, for too short a time. |
Wednesday, March 22: Gymnastics! Xander's Panda Gymnastics class at Creek Flipsters. |
Thursday, March 23: Shoup Park We spent some time at Shoup Park. Kayli isn't old enough to appreciate it, yet, but Xander loves it there! It really is the best local park. Too bad it is 15 minutes away. |
Friday, March 24: Kayli, Kayli, Kayli More pictures than anyone ever needs to see of Kayli. |
Saturday, March 25: Dinner at Underwoods' House We went over to Tom and Holly's house for a Thanksgiving Feast! Holly's turkey was the best that I've ever had, so I need to make my next turkey exactly the same way. Travis LOVED the gravy, too. Connor and Xander had fun playing "Egg" with Travis. I have some video of that if you want to know what it is. |
Monday, March 27: Columbus Zoo On the spur of the moment, I took Xander (and Kayli) to the Columbus Zoo. It was a beautiful day, so it seemed like a good idea. I was disappointed to find that a lot of exhibits were closed, including the pony rides and the cool play structure, just because it was too early in the season. He loved riding the train, as usual, and had a good time on the playground. He really is not too interested in any animals other than the penguins, so far. No pictures of Kayli because she was in the sling the entire time. |
Wednesday, March 29 - moonbeams: Moonbeams at Young's Dairy We got together at Young's Dairy. |
