Kayli grew from a helpless pink blob into an adorable and communicative toddler. She can walk, run, climb, and even say a few words ("mama", "dada", "hi").. She uses sign language to frequently request to nurse, but most of the time I think she just wants to communicate and that's the only sign she knows. She had several "first" birthday parties; the family party was held during Thanksgiving weekend at our house. As with Xander, I took a picture of Kayli next to her birthday cake every month, to see how fast she grows. You can view those on Kayli's Birthday pages.

Xander grew up a lot, too, though not quite as dramatically as Kayli. He's definitely turned into a little boy this year, and has lost all remnants of toddler-hood. He's tall and slender, and so handsome! He's spent time learning gymnastics, swimming, reading, and writing this year. He loves his bike and his motorcycle and would love to be outside playing with them all the time. He is a good big brother and knows that it is his job to look out for his little sister.

I do take some pictures that don't focus on the kids. Not many, though. These are mostly group shots from gatherings, pictures of me and Travis, or pictures of me with my friends.
